Default C3 seats

I was wondering if anyone had put C5 seats in a C3. Ive heard of some people putting them in the C3. I was hoping somebody can tell me how hard it is to convert them to fit. Thanks

On my 81 the drivers side floor pan is lower then my passenger side as the car came with drivers side power seat. The C5 sport seats sit very high and uneven with no modifications.

These are 2001 Z06 seats in my 77. I made my own brackets to bolt them to the stock bolt location. I probably gained 1 or 2 inches of headroom.

Your kidding right. The C3 seats are like a park bench compared to the C5 seats which hold you much better and are more comfy to sit in. The early C3 seats I had my back would hurt after about 1/2 hour. The C5 seats I put in I could ride all day in them.

They sit just a wee bit higher. Very easy mod using c3 brackets. Would not even consider putting C3 seats back in.

thanks for the advice on the seats. The corvette im wanting to put them in is my first vette. I'm wanting to make it an everday driver so I want good seats in it. Are the C5 seats ya'll have put in electric or manual seat controls?

Depends how tall you are. Most will have to go with manual, power seats would sit too high. I'm 6'2" and have about an 1" or so of headroom with manual tracks.
