$17,000 seems a bit high. Regardless of the restoration IMO. If you don't know the mileage for sure (that's not the original Spedo BTW) and it is 119K.... then it's a bit overpriced.

But no doubt, that is a good looking car.

I was in the same boat as you. Trust me: C3 is the way to go. I take my C3 to my local club (dominated by C5 and C6 cars) and the C3 gets a lot of looks at local car shows. You just don't see many anymore and EVERYBODY looks at them. Nothing like stopping at a traffic light and having somebody in the car next to you roll down the window and say "Wow! Nice car!"

Its pretty, but way too high for an '81.

And I do hate the tacky add-on fake wood stickers in the interior.

Seems a bit stiff even with that mileage. And as was mentioned...what necessitated a restoration worthy of mention at that low mileage??

I recently bought a turn-key, immaculate '80 with 53,000 miles on it for $11,500.

Like this one, it started out around 17 grand, but the seller got some sense and it incrementally went down to what seemed like a very good buy.

There's a white '69 in the sales forum here that's $12,900 and is an total knock out that I would have grabbed in a second had I not just bought mine.

Check it out:

Meaning the 366th brand new 1981 assembled at St. Louis. I'm guessing third day of production.
