Default 1980 Headlight question

the other day i put a brand new battery in my vette.

after giving her a wash i noticed the right headlight , lowbeam was not working

i bought 2 new lowbeam lights but after i installed them the right will still not work

all 4 lights work when i put on the highbeams

can anyone help?

Probably the connector on the bulb.

thats what i think too.

when i was doing the instal, i plugged the new left bulb in & checked to see that it worked before buttoning it all back up...it worked fine

maybe i should unbutton everything again & fiddle with the conector ...emery the conectors inside it ??

i'm quesing here...lol

Your probably right and they are just dirty. Tan wire is the low beam.

Check the wire in the picture below. If you break it on the left of side of the car it will knock out both sides of the lamps.

you were spot on - thank-you Roger !

i was a little intimidated to take those 2 headlight bracket things apart again but hey i'm learning lol

gave all the conectors a swipe with the emery paper & everything works perfect
