WOW perfect timing I am in the process of installing my hard top and was just about to post a question and you just posted these beautiful
pics of your vette. How do you get this bolt through the rear hole do I have to take the rear latch apart?
I agree. Monaco Orange with the black top is a great combo. Beautiful car you have there RS. Must be that time of the year. First time for my top on the car since I've had it.

I think they just go right through the recepticles, and then put the washers and bolts on--that's how mine works...
Helpful hint...much easier to do if you remove the soft top, but that's for a different thread!
I can't get the bolt past the spring, Am I using the right bolt?
I'm not sure what your problem is...my threaded studs slide right through the recepticles that also accept the soft top studs (which are spring held). I reach back and the threaded studs prodrude enough into the rear area so I can put the washers and nuts on. It's very simple.
My '69 has only 2 rear connection points. Later tops had 3.
