Storage compartment carpet...
I'm replacing the carpet in my '71. The carpet set i got does not have holes pre-cut for the storage compartment latches. Any tips for cutting nice round holes? I tried a practice hole on an old scrap piece of carpet by tracing the hole from the old storage compartment carpet with a razor blade....didn't come out as neat as i wanted. Just wondering what others have done.
Thanks,
Paul

It doesn't have to be absolutely perfect. There is a trim piece that covers the edges.

The Latch Escutcheons are pretty forgiving.

Use an X-Acto knife and cut from the back-side.
