Very nice Vince, Thats what I started to do a couple of months
ago but started out with a 79 hood and found that the 80/82
would fit the bill a little better because of the original lines already
there. You nailed the look that I was going for. Now I think I'm
going to try something along the same lines with a little twist, but
it won't be until spring now.

Great work and thanks for sharing,
Riggs.

The '81 already has a bit of a 'bulge' on top of the hood. If you just add the C3 'stinger' hood scoop to what you already have, it could do the job for you. Below is a website that might interest you.

Panic, I know we don't see eye to eye on a lot of things, but I gotta say as one C-3 owner to another, you have one of THE baddest C-3s on the forum!

The "Twin Turbo" hood available from Corvette Central is a personal favorite of mine.

(removed ad for NSV)

A different angle.

Different strokes, folks.

While not 'built in', if you need to suck in ALOT of cold air - you can always go this route.
