The thread asks "Whyyyyyyyyyyy ?????" that's easy.....because pimps dig vettes too...
Years ago I almost bought one of these in black...but it was on stock wheels and just had a whole different feel, like something grandpa Munster would drive to the drag strip...this one really has that "No ghetto can hold me look"...
If you can get past that it takes bastardizing a C3 to build one These are just so weird odd and ugly that it's kind of cool the same way the vette family trucksters are,
So one of you bucks up fellows should buy it....trade me for my c4 and I will put different wheels on it, paint it black, trim it in campy spooky skulls and stuff and use it as my staff car....

Hey, that is just the '70 version of the Caddy they just recently discontinued based on the C6. What was that car called? Not my thing either, but someone put a lot of work into that. Better than bumming for money on the street. I wonder if he could do some subtle flares that only a Corvette expert could spot,...... up close.

The late John Belushi strikes me as more of a Mustang Cobra or SS Chevelle guy.

I have never understood why people want to square off a Corvette. It is the lines that make it the car that it is. That car looks like an Avanti. If you want an Avanti, go buy an Avanti.
