AC Delete installation
I cut my thumb on the edge of the cover. Not bad, just a little worse than a good paper cut. I suggest running sandpaper around the perimeter to avoid my fate or worse. The edges are very sharp.
There are no holes drilled in it so you have to fudge around with that. I broke off most of the bolts taking the old ac fiberglass out so i decided to drill for 2 studs on top that were remaining and just silicone the whole thing on.
For some reason, it doesn't fit flush against the firewall. If i push the motor end flush the opposite end has a good 1/4 to 3/8 gap and vise versa. I decided to just live with it and fill the gap in with silicone. Those bolting them on can pull it flush but may risk cracking or warping the cover.
I'm going to finish siliconing it to the firewall tomorrow. The cutouts where the heater core tubes pass will need a healthy bead of silicone to avoid a lot of air leaking out in that area.
Its amazing how much fussing around is required to do a simple job like this.
