So sorry to hear about this misfortune Sarge! Damn, what are the odd's of something like this happening. I can't believe they didn't bring your wife to the hospital where you were. How stupid!
I hope she has a quick recovery and that yours continues.

What a strange run of bad luck. I hope you both recover fully. A good friend of mine was a trauma surgeon. What I learned is that there are very few designated trauma units at hospitals that are designed to handle all of the accident type of injuries. In the area where I used to live in New Jersey near New York city if you got in a serious car accident you would be taken to either University Hospital in Jersey City or Morristown, one of those 2 hospitals, and not any one of a dozen hospitals with "emergency rooms" that might be closer. My friend saw many car accident victims, and plenty of shooting and knife wounds also.

Thank you all for your thoughts and best wishes. It is greatly appreciated. My wife and I are slowly getting better each day. It is a little funny that both of us are trying to help each other. Sometimes it becomes quite a task for the easiest things.
Thanks again, so much and God bless.
