I got to put a plug in for my new favorite vendor and thats Paragon. They seem to have a lot of things that most of the others don't stock. I have purchased from all of them including Dr Rebuild who seems to have the best soft parts ( gaskets rubber and stuff). I like Wilcox good customer service and a forum vendor it's just that their selection is sometimes limited.

Sometimes the quality is not so great on some items, but they have great customer service. I've bought a lot of parts from Mid-America over the years. I even placed an odered and when it came, there were some mistakes on the order (Missing parts) and when I called the lady who answered the phone, she looked up that order and came back and said "We made a mistake and sent the wrong parts, We'll ship them out today no charge and we'll pay the shipping as well."

I asked her how I go about shipping the wrong parts back, She said it was their mistake and to just keep the wrong parts".

So Mid-America is OK in my book !

I've used Mid-America a bit and have not had problems. My favorites are Knoch, Smart Parts, Paragon, Zip & Corvette Central. No issues with Eckler. It should be noted many parts houses sell the same stuff, so their customer service & return policies are very important. The only 2 vendors I won't use are as a result of how I was treated on the phone.

Never had a problem, but be warned, you will get a catalog every month until you die, then your next of kin will start getting it.

I try to use Willcox as much as possible because they are a forum vender & more so because they have been so helpful technically for me. But that being said, I look for the shipping price. I've been really ripped on shipping by some vendors. For example, a $3.00 decal that came in a box with $12.00 shipping. It could have been thrown in an envelope & mailed for less than 50 cents. So now I call each vendor for shipping price on a certain part. It's amazing the difference between vendors.
