Default Motion reverse gills

I would love to do reverse gills on my vette but finding reverse gills is very hard if not impossible. Does anyone no if you could take stock '68 or '69 gills and put them on inside out on opposite side of vette? Just a thought. Does anyone know where to find reverse gills?

I might be mistaken but I thought that was what Motion did.

yep....thats all they were is 68/69 vents backwards ( and smoothed ) and left on right side and vice versa...you are in luck...I just bought 69 fenders from a fellow to get the vents and Mike is pulling a mold because reversed is what I wanted...so if you want a pair hit me up...

Silly question here....but is that mod meant to draw outside air in for cooling the engine compartment?? I guess that would really not work on a newer car where the inlet sits so far inside the fender.....I mean....it seems like it wouldn't really do anything for one of those.

Let me stress we...me and Mike are not in any fiberglass business,
I buy parts and then get mike to pull a mold then if I sell a part or two it helps offset my costs in the hobby,
Like in the case of the Mako stuff I want molds for fear if I wreck a part I do not want to have to hunt down a replacement, plus I want to do some custom touches on my junk.
The reversed 68/69 vents were fairly common years back glass houses like brunos sold them and even offer them with 6 gills rather than stock 4.....

Deja...I more believe that the vents, gills,or whatever we call them holes in the front fenders are more for getting hot air out than letting it in....and I would also guess size being the same all will work about even....
