Boys, boys....be nice. He is trying to request help...I think.
What are you trying to accomplish? Are you just looking for a functional frame and birdcage assembly?

I think everyone so far is being nice. I intend to be as well. But, I admit that I am not sure what the OP is looking for.
Delgal: Are you looking for a salvage yard in California? Or are you looking to buy a car that needs restoration?
I am sure that language issues are working against us here. I am equally sure that you are better with English than I am with your first language!

I was only trying to help.
I took his post to mean he is looking for a project and wanted suggestions of where to look.

Degal, in many states you can buy a corvette with a salavage title. One MUST be careful when doing this. The car may have been stolen, found, and nothing wrong with it. A car may have been in a flood and under water.Oof course, it may simply have been crashed. Before you buy one, please do yourself a favor and ask someone on this forum to take a look at it. There are many corvettes priced very cheaply that drive and stop, with good titles,,but those need checked out as well.In some states, you cannot buy a car from a "salavage yard". Good luck and welcome to the Forum.

While we're on the topic, thought you guys might find this interesting - from back in the day when Corvettes were just used cars...

I remember that kind of yard. I saw that '57 Nomad in one shot: oooh. Still want one of those.
Sometimes, it doesn't seem so long ago. Of course, the monthly credit card statement says different. Ha!
Thanks for sharing!

I guess I can add a little to this post after almost 4 years...
Last year I bought s 57 Corvette Gasser project and along with it a ton of parts, mostly NOS.
I just got to a box today that contained 13 NOS grill teeth for a 53 to 57 Corvette.
The box was dated Oct 20, 1976 and the teeth are very nice.
It was from :
Lincoln's Corvettes
A Speciality Division of Lincolns Auto Salvage, Inc.
12220 Aurora Ave. No.
Seattle, Wash. 98113
From what I have found Lincoln's is long gone.

I had a BAD run-in with JUST CORVETTES, so I would recommend them to an other American person, let alone some from out-of-country!!!!
