My resto-work

After prepping for new glass:

I discovered why it was so screwed up.. it really is hard to get glass under there to stick, not sag, and just stay flat in general. I ended up doing it by putting in a layer over the top as well as the bottom, and cardboard/wax paper to support it.
Pain in the *** to keep it smooth though.
So, went back and cleaned up some of my repairs today. The bumper is turning out to be a real B*** because it's only flush on one side. This will be the 5th time i've had to make alterations to my repair, and thats not even to make it look perfect- thats just to make it structurally sound. I suppose that's what I get for not just buying a new bumper.
I decided to do a little mechanical work today, jacked her up even further, took off the flywheel inspection cover. Discovered i have the wrong wheel, gonna have to go get a different one.
As I am only missing two teeth and not as I feared, many many more, I am thinking I will just leave it in there until I do my tranny swap this summer. Tomorrow I am going to put the starter back on and take her for a run.. though I might have to sand some of the resin drippings off. Oh well. I'm hoping my parents will get rid of their stupid pop-up so I can have a good place to work on her.
Hopefully I will get to work on her all day tomorrow.
Working on getting my parents to sell their pop-up so I can build a shop structure in the driveway.
