At many car shows, especially inside shows, ive seen people with spotlights around their cars, anyone know what these are and how they get powered, im sure theres no place to plug them in.

You have to purchase the power option from the show sponsor.The is a locked electrical box just below ground level on every car spot.

Something I noticed a lot of guys doing this year was a 42" flat screen displaying a slide show of thier restoration...nice touch!
