AC evaporator
The condenser (thx ganey) should be easy to take out. Any tips on getting the evaporator out (I wasn't sure what that was so I was going to leave it)

On 72 it comes out without removing the heater core (your 75 may differ).
Move the electrical plugs and wiring harness out the way.
Move any vacuum hoses out the way.
Disconnect the A/C hoses (Proper wrenches for the connections are key).
Remove the blower motor.
You MAY need to drain and remove the heater hoses if they are in the way but the evap box simply lays over the heater core pipes against the firewall.
Remove the nuts/bolts holding the evap box to the firewall (possible that a couple of these bolts come out from the passenger compartment side requiring removal of the map pocket and ducts).
Pull the box assembly away from the wall and remove the bolts holding the two halves of the box together (may require removal of the valve assembly retaining bolts).
Once the two halves are apart the evap coil and heater cover will come up and out. The blower motor half will come out too but must be turned around properly for it to clear the motor/fender/firewall.
Take good care of the core and you can probably sell it.
They go for @$300 new.

I will definitely take a little more care with the parts than I did with the hoses (the bolt was being a pain so I just cut the hose off with a sawzall)
From what I can see, I believe the evaporator is in poor shape. I may be wrong though, it might just need cleaning. There is very little rust down there. We shall see.
