Welcome.

Order a 68 GM chassis service manual of ebay and an AIM from one of the supporting vendors. The AIM's are a little rough from all the years of copying. Don't expect clear and crisp copy lines.

Lots of repro caps out there, a good original will cost you $75 to $100. Like new will be over $100. Welcome to the 68 club.

Hi Cf,
68... nice! If you're going to mention the car, you MUST post a couple of pictures!
I'll agree with Bud's choice of manuals.
Willcox (on this forum) sells the factory AIM (ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTION MANUAL) on cd I believe. If you want a print version I believe the copies from Corvette America are quite clear.
Regards,
Alan

Good for you. You may now officially flip the bird to all the non-68 owners who say not to buy one.

I love mine.

Also GM was provding a restoration package free of charge to anyone who wanted one. Not sure if they still do. but if you call then and give them your vin, and they still have them, it took about two weeks to get mine, and there is lots of good stuff in there.

wWelcome to the 68 Club, and lets have some pics !

What kinda 68 did you get? If you don't have pics at least give us the coupe/vert, engine, color, condition info.

I use my GM service manual a lot although it is sometimes annoying to get through all the non corvette chapters - pages and pages of drum brake info
