Well, I moved my car out of the shop today to clean up some. And the trip back in the shop is up hill, so I have this zero turn mower that works great as a towing vehicle to get it back in.So to make it short, the mower and the front of my bumperless corvette had a disagreement, and as you guessed it, the mower won! Got some fiberglass damage at the bonding strip at the front drivers corner of the body, the bonding strip held strong but the fiberglass pulled away from it. I got it to pop back in place, what would I use to re secure this area. The area is right along the main body line all on the side just below it. The bonding strip is right behind the crack. Pics can be sent in if needed. Thanks...VIC...

Reason: Sorry spelling!
Will post some pics tomorrow, as I was really pissed/dissapointed/aggravated at myself for this foolish mistake. I just pulled the shop doors down and walked away. Its a smallish fix according to my neighbor which is a bodyman. He just laughed, told me I freak to quick! If it was a valve cover leak or no start problem it woulnt bother me.As engine work is my thing. I guess that crack to him is equal to my no start or leaky valve cover!!!! O well as they say shet happens!!!
If you are looking to reseal the bonding strip, behind the body, I have used "3M Structural Adhesive" a two part system for fibreglas , it works great.
