can someone please post pics of how the throttle linkage and trans kickdown hook up please

Here's my set up on a Speed Demon... I put both cables in the same location they were on the Q-jet

edelbrock 2101 intake and 1406 carb

Ok well so far the factory QJ throttle cable bracket will work if you get it lengthened an inch in the middle. local machine shop did mine for $20.00 the holes need to be 5-1/8" center to center. I had to grind down a casting nub at the back of the intake between the rear two bolts to accept the factory kick down bracket. And Edelbrock sells a bracket that bolts to the 1406 carb to accept all the linkage. The bracket part number is 1484. That allows the cruise control to be used. Fuel line you need it a 8126.
