Pulling a 1975 Corvette with a 2006 Trail Blazer 6cyl with the U haul Car Hauler
Will the 2006 Trail Blazer do the job for 1500 mile haul?

I use the U-haul car carrier....like a mothers soft caress! I like the tire binders.

When hauling in the snow a piece of plywood can be used to forestall splash.

The best part....Looking in your rear view mirror and the fender says 50 MPH MAX.....always get a chuckle from that!

CHECK THE TIRES! CAREFULLY before renting.

good luck unkahal

As others have said:. Tow it up there empty and tow the car back. DON'T TELL THEM IT IS A LONG HAUL! give them the song and dance about a couple of cars you have to move around or whatever for why you need it for 3 or 4 days. They will try to force you into a one way and then they're going to make the one way longer than is going to take you to drive both ways. And if you get back in one day you still have to pay for the for 5 days total. Their one way is a total rip-off. that trailblazer will pull it just fine. It's all interstates and pretty flat. Just kill the overdrive when you hit the bottom of a long uphill. Doing it solo or do you have a partner in crime? It's a whole lot faster if one is sleeping while the other one is driving.

8 year old thread, you might get better answers by starting a new one. Trail blazer seems a little light for the job, others will chime in.

Might not let you rent because of your Vehicle size. Tow capacity and weight of tow vehicle.

Stopping is very important.

The brakes on my ‘15 Nissan Armada faded away while towing a 6x12 trailer with on dirt bike loaded in it. I traded it the next day for a Tahoe. Look at your door sticker to make sure your vehicle can support what your towing.
