Hi All!
Finally bought my Dad's old 70 Coupe and he put urethane bushings all around before I got it! Great handling but the sound is a bit embarrassing! Does anyone know the best way to lubricate these things without ruining them? I appreciate any information I can get regarding this issue.
Thanks Very Much,
JW
Two suggestions: A) the really heavy, teflon impregnated glop that Energy Suspension sells; or B) also a teflon impregnated, but less thick product called "Super Lube". At one time, the Super Lube was made/marketed by Permatex, however I think they spun it off into a seperate company.
Speed shops should have the ES lube, or mail order from Jegs/Summit Racing, while hardware/auto parts stores probably carry the Super Lube. I've used both, with good results.....
