In 70 comfortweave was the base material for the visors and seats. Going on this I would think the same is true for your 71.

Comfortweave sunvisors are used with standard interiors on 69-75 models. Madrid grain are used with deluxe interiors on 69-75 models and all 76 models.
So, your 71 deluxe, would have madrid grain.

Hi Sarge,
I'm going to disagree on this one.
The info I'm looking at indicates the Madrid pattern vinyl was only used in 68, and for both vinyl and leather interiors. Starting in 69 and going through at least 72, the Comfort-weave pattern, in vinyl, was used for both vinyl and leather interiors.
Can you please take a look again?
Regards,
Alan

Alan;

From my reserch information, I have found my statement to be correct, with the exception, that in 68, apparently the sunvisors had a smooth surface, no grain and no weave. But the rest, 69 to 75 are as I stated. Willing to learn, if you can verify, your help, will inspire as usual.

My 71 w/deluxe leather interior has the comfort-weave sun visors which according to the NCRS judging manual is correct...have to agree w/Alan.

Hi Sarge,
I'm looking at the 68-69 and 70-72 NCRS TECH INFO MANUALS and Rick Bizzoco's 69 STINGRAY GUIDEBOOK.
