I just got mine out and when I got the battery hooked up, the interior lights came on. They stayed on the whole drive home and once there, I pulled out the dome bulb and the two under the dash turned off. They did not stay off though, they would come on/off and flicker in between. They also were not as bright as when you opened the door. My first thought was the door-jam switch, but now I'm wondering if its the mechanism that controls the delayed shut off after you've closed the doors. It seems to me that if it were the door-jam switch, they'd either be on or off. Any one have ideas or have dealt with this problem? Its done this before at the end of the year when it starts to get cold, but not when I've pulled it out for the summer. What part does control the delayed turn off?
There's a little orange box behind the glove box. It delays the lights. Costs $80 new but I do have a spare. Not sure that it works but might be worth a shot. You can have it, PM me if interested

Pull out the orange module. Put a jumper btween the two white wires, the lights should then go on and off with the doors with no delays. If it works that way then the module was the culprit if not then start looking somewhere else. Good Luck!
My driver door switch was in the process of seizing up and was very hard to operate. My interior lights did the same thing .I changed out the switch and the orange box with no luck. The problem was the switch had made a hole in the door.

That was among the first things I looked at, but the doors are fine.
