So we all had a great laugh....
Touche, kind sir. Also, if that black one you linked is yours, it's pretty damn sexy. I was looking at C3s before I got my C4. I like how C3s look, but I definitely wouldn't be able to afford to keep it up as well as my '88.

I think the 81's got so many votes - because they were not 82's.

The last black C3 I posted I believe is super james wonderful car which I do use as example a fair amount....

My car is that beater pos silver 69,
I sold my 86 to make room for the 69...simple fact is I can not afford several cars and I have a kit car that still needs work before I can sell it,
I wanted another chrome bumper vette for 25 years and have made that right, but I do miss the c4 and the fellow I sold it to "poorboy" on here is now a new and very good friend,

What would happen if someone had a login at home and another at work or perhaps one on a friends computer? Could they vote more than once? There are always ways around things! People like to play all kinds of games.

Just a thought!

OH you're right!!
I for one would never think that deviously, or dare to screw around with an internet poll.

The 69 would have been perfect if it would have had flaired fenders like the 70,71,72,etc.I like the gills on the 68 and 69.

Billy,
I tend to agree with you but not in a dissing 68 sort of way,
Here is the rear of my 69...and then I bought some cast off 68/69 front fenders to get the vents...as my car has 73-79 vents which I never liked....we think the same on this one...

I own a 68, personally between a 68 and 69 it doesn't much matter to me which I ended up with but it had to be a 68 or 69. The 68 I have now jsut happened to be the most original and best cond car with the right options for me I ran across.

I had a hard time deciding what year to vote for 68 or 69 but ended up voting 68 because I do think with time it will become like the 58 and due to the 68 being so unique and with one year only parts..well it will be worth more.

I have a 58 and a 68, sold my 95 vert awhile back.

guess with a 58 and 68 I like my cars unique! plus my 68 I THINK has the lowest production number color cordavan maroon and a m21 which is rare with the l36.

How did the 68 win this pole? I have a 68 and love it but the 69 always seems to win the pole probably because a ton of 69's are out there and the owners vote for their car but still the 69 is nice. the 68 and 69 are my 2 fav years.

The 69's days of winning all the polls are over.

It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling to know I have the most popular C3...hum perhaps that warm fuzzy feeling is I am getting my wifes stomach flu....

Yeah the 68 and 69 are pretty much the most desired, with the 70-72's coming in next.

think about it it's easy to see why that is, if you want a 427 (i had a 71 454 don't let the numbers fool you) 68 and 68 are your only choices.

if you want a tri-power in a c3, 68 and 69 are your only choices

if you like the key on the dash like the earlier vettes had, 68 is your only choice

higher hp engines 68 and 69 are your only choices.

if you perfer the narrow hips as do i 68 and 69 are your only choices.

btw I thought you had a 74ish convertible? you have a 69 too? must be nice.

...

all in all the 69 does seem to be favored over the 68 but after the 69 comes the 68 since they're so close then like I said 70-72's.

what a let down though I thought the 68 actually won over the 69

Real cool points about 68/69
I just wanted a 68-72...I wanted a wiper door car...lol
I really thought from the percent I found mine would be a 68 but I got this 69,
It's a bastard or 1/2 breed...looks like a 73 with 73-79 nose and chrome bumper rear the rear is slightly flared,
I plan to add a Mako front clip so modded was perfect for me....

Sweeet....68 wins
I have two of them, and nothing beats trying to source all those 1 year only parts.

Hey Bats! Thanks for the comp. Yeah I dropped down in here to c-3 land again. Do that from time to time because I plan (maybe summer or fall) to try to pick up one myself. Nosin' around for a 70-72. (It should be stated that the Black Pearl will remain in my driveway.) As for my vote, it goes to the '69, 427, 435 hp., 4-speed. Had two friends in '69 that bought them new, one gold and one I believe was what they called "cypress green" but not really sure about that. Anyway, that stated, I figure the 70-72s will fit better in my wallet.

1970. Big shock considering that I own one.

I just thought that the LT-1 in 1970 was the best Chevy at the time. I love my L-46, but I would like to have an LT-1 to go with it.
