Default Bats favorite C3 Poll....

I have been rather busy in the Bat cave and the 69 will be home soon with it's new 383 so having a few moments I get all bored and that leads me to making another overdue if not infamous Bats Poll,

This is NOT some best or worse Corvette thread I am not one of these bitter petty people who get a kick out of trashing some ones car just to try to make a person feel bad....hey, the world is hard enough right?
These are all Corvettes and all cool if for no other reason than being a Vette,

With that said there were a lot of changes from 68-82 and personal tastes standing we each have to have our all time favorite year of C3
It might be the year we own, or the year we dream of owning, perhaps it's the year we were born or just as simple as the year we ended up buying,
I also well know some of us own more than one vette but one year still has to stand as "favorite" as far as C3's goes.

While is isn't about best or worse C3 it will tell us as far as the voting members of this forum goes which is the favorite or most popular year and which is the least favorite/popular.

I believe I know the outcome of this poll but I also want to see if I am really as savvy as I think I am,....

Bats, whats to stop fools from sitting there and keep voting on their own favorite. What do you think will be the accuracy of this results. Interesting poll and hopefully our forum members will only vote once each. Good luck with the poll, and I am also interested in the results. I got a feeling thou, what it is going to be too.

The only reason 1969 wins these polls is because of all the evil propaganda they spread about the 1968 cars.

One of these days you'll be surprised and '68 will win.

PS to the other dood... a member can only vote once in a poll.

Hi Bats,
I voted for 69.
Hi CC,
I think the 69 is just a little further developed than 68. Sorry!
Regards,
Alan

I voted 4 72, but that is because I have one, not that it matters, long as it's chrome shark....they pretty much all LOOK alike....

but mine is a Johnny Cash car...pick a year between '68 and '94.....

unless you count date of purchase for various aftermarket stuff, in that case maybe up to 2006? or so, give or take what item....

OR because '69's are more plentiful/higher production number.

I actually like that my car is not on the bandwagon.

Have a 68 and a 70, voted for 70 because I like the flares they added behind the wheels and the rectangular exhaust tips. But I like the 68-69 side gills better than the 70-72 egg crates.

I threw my vote in for the '78 - I just really like the looks of the 78 pace car.

New to this polling thing, not usually get involved in them, but this one seemed interesting. I did not know that once you voted, that you would get loked out, good plan.

I voted for the '71 model. It's the last year to have the features I liked that were standard for the earlier models. I also like the use of metal more, such as side marker light housings, side grilles, front grilles, and the wheel well flare look also.

I wish we could vote for 2. I like the raw power, design and engineering fixes the evolved in 69. But, I like the body lines with ground effects and creature comforts designed into the 81.

1977. Last of the tunnel windows, and also what currently happens to take all my free time and money.

No one likes that Vega steering wheel... even the '76 owners.

NCRS outta have a special dispensation for '76 owners who put in a '77 steering wheel.

OH! And GO '68!!!

I want to thank everyone so far on their votes and I am pleased that the comments are for the most part all good...very little trashing one year to build up the year the trasher likes,

I did get a kick out of the remark about chrome bumpers belonging on trucks,
Sorry...I see nothing "truck like" here...

To me this car wouldn't look 1/2 this sweet with a '74 front nose.
Personal taste.

I also find the difference in our personal tastes interesting..example..the very reasons I never liked 74-79 all that much IS the very reason fans of those years do like them,
