Hi all-1st post
Any help?
Best I can tell you from the vin is that it is a coupe. Came from the factory with the 350/250hp engine, and was the 22,221 car built that year out of 37,502coupes. (There were also 5474 convertibles). * From my little black book.
According to my book and as you stated there was no 67L paint code in 74. 68 was dark brown, but no 67. Why someone would put a 75 Trim tag on a car even if they changed color would be beyond me. Many thing could have happened. The front could be 75 and the rest 74. It could have a 74 Windshield Frame and Vin tag on a 75 car. Or someone did actually put a 75 trim tag on it.
Either way, enjoy the car.

Z Corvette
37 coupe (67 for convertibles)
T engine code for the optional L-82
4 year of production
S plant code for St. Louis, Missouri
422221 consecutive unit number (the 22221st '74 assembled, March 1974)
The Corvette Black Book lists the numbers.
67L is a '75 paint code. In the upper right corner of the trim tag you will find the time'build code. It should be the letter H and two digits for the day of the month. That date might give you a clue as to whether the tag has been replaced.
