All I can say about his reply is Wow. Only 50,000 made, Wow that is "RARE" LOL.
Hmm how is that a Half year?
Gee My 1980 must really be worth alot more than I paid.
Total 1980 Corvettes Built - 40,614
I have got to list mine on ebay for at 70K, Plus mine is all Power, and The Super Rare Black with Oyster int.
Here I am just sitting on a Mint and never knew it.
1977 Corvette, they only made 50,000 Corvette. The "77" could be consider as a half year Corvette. Which means more expenivse car: "77" last year of the"Flat Rear Window" car. Bump up the valve of "77" plus is consider as half year car with only 50,000 "Made Only". $49,500. US dollars is correct price.
What a rar car indeed, tomorrow morning I will be the first in line at the bank, to rape life savings. I must have this one of a kind car for sure.
It sounds like none of you are going to make an offer. Well I guess I am going to sell my all original numbers matching 1968 project and refinance my house to buy this super rare corvette. You all will be envious.
Here is his expert reply to the question I asked him earlier .....gimmie a break ...

Holy Crap Batman !! my " Real" StingRay must be worth 75k > e-bay here I come if someone actually buys his ...LOL
At least he actually answered your questions. Reading that, the guy sounds Indian. The country, not the teepee type. Nice Engrish response there.
When I was looking for my 69 I would find cars in most cases too good to be true and I would jump all over it,
I was guilty with nothing more than emails thinking I was corresponding with people in or of a East India nationality,
It happened everywhere from Fleabay to craigslist, that corvette dog site is really bad,
But learning more about scams I believe it is more likely the scammers are of African and French African decent, you know the same bunch of dirt bags sending the emails saying how they are dying and God told them to leave you or me their 10 zillion dollars if we pay to process it,
Or the slaim who want to buy our "item" but never name it.
Ironically seems a new trend is grossly overpriced cars, at first I thought these were sellers trying to find a sucker but now I just do not know where those scams are going, perhaps when he told you 49K had you offered 30K cash...you get the idea.
Seems there are about a zillion scams for every one legit deal out there so buyer beware,

I've owned an ISP (Internet Service Provider) for 13 years and I can say with almost exact certainty that this is not only a scam, but originates from either India, Malaysia or Africa as you said. There is likely a go between somewhere here in the US that would accept the funds. I see stuff like this all the time on eBay, though usually they are buyers that are doing the scamming and paying with someone else's funds.
Anyway, over the years I've learned to decipher the Engrish and have been very good at figuring out the nationality and locale of scammers that have tried to defraud me and my services.
