Maybe he thinks he can get 49,500 because it is the super dooper rare 1977 "Stingray"
Last I checked they dropped the stingray name in 76, so If that is a Stingray then its the only one of its kind
Oh yeah and it is also the Rare Red color Corvette, That should make it worth more also
Mike.

For a car with 31K miles on it the console looks awful worn out. It's missing the emblem on the refueling door. Where is the antenna? Either it is missing or someone altered the car with a power antenna which was never a 77 option.

My wife was telling me how she saw a Sting Ray yesterday like mine. She wanted to know if it was 77, 78 or 79. I explained 76 or earlier.
And what's with those ugly rims?
Something's just not right in ebay auction land with a lot of cars lately. Its too bad they don't spend as much time monitoring what is listed in the Motors section as they do whether or not someone puts up some chewing gum with Britney Spears DNA.
I was hanging on to my two 1977's because the market is down but heck, you can have both of mine for $49,500 and I will even throw in the shipping to anywhere in the lower 48. Have to admit neither of mine are Stingrays but both have new tires and good shocks. You think I should post mine on eBay?
Just too funny.

He MUST have messed up on the comma. Just a visual inspection from the images indicates the car is a victim of a attempted but failed restore.
The first picture showing the front:
1) Left (driver side) headlight bucket down position alignment is out of adjustment...if the headlights even work they probably shine in the wrong directions.
2) The car was repainted at some point because the two bits which stick out around the license plate should be black...and the front bumper is deformed on the right (passenger) side...it may even be a cheap replacement from a collision on the left front corner because the sun reflection on the left doesn't line up.
Side picture:
The rims aren't stock and the left rear is dented near the rear bumper.
Inside:
1) The car was not moved (based on figurine on post in same location), but the steering wheel is not straight...looks like some steering repairs by bubba.
2) The driver's console is popped out on the left and is not fitting well in the middle.
3) The stock brake pedal was replaced with a chrome one...Bubba's fix for brake problems.
4) Looks like a drop or two of oil or other damage on the carpet, but at least it looks like the original carpet...which now needs to be replaced.
Rear image:
1) Again...the rubber parts of the bumper have been painted over and the sun reflection isn't consistent...likely a replacement.
2) No emblem on the fuel cover.
3) Passenger's sun visor is hanging down on the right side.
Need we ask why there are no pictures of the engine?

Here is his expert reply to the question I asked him earlier .....gimmie a break ...
Mr.2148Morgan:
1977 Corvette, they only made 50,000 Corvette. The "77" could be consider as a half year Corvette. Which means more expenivse car: "77" last year of the"Flat Rear Window" car. Bump up the valve of "77" plus is consider as half year car with only 50,000 "Made Only". $49,500. US dollars is correct price.
Holy Crap Batman !! my " Real" StingRay must be worth 75k > e-bay here I come if someone actually buys his ...LOL
