My dad sitting in my Vette this summer. 17X8 fronts with 255 45 17s and the rear is 18X10 with 275 40 18s. I lived in Avon for a number of years and my wife grew up in Avon. Still like to go back and visit.

Search the C3 forums for BOSS 338 and you will see and read quite a few tire options for these wheels. You can also search Tirerack.com or some other online tire site and see that you have a much larger selection of 18" tires than 16's or 17's.

tire are 245/45/18 front, 255/45/18 rear. boss has an 18x9.5 wheel also,but i feel it would rub the fender lip. it's also only 5 inch backspace. if it was 5.5 backspace it would work. so i stuck it with 8 inch 4.5 backspace. maybe 1/2 spacers with longer studs, or wheel adaptors in the future for the rear.

IMO - This is the "perfect look" and perfect size of rim & tire. Car looks and sits just right. Nothing better than Torque Thrust II. Wicked looking car, Must turn alot of heads. Makes me wish I kept my 1980 Vette.
