Both wheels are a "classic" style so nothing trendy here. Are you leaning towards one more than the other? If this is the look you're after I don't think either one is a bad choise so I'll throw this out there. How do you use your car? Does it see the elements? Is it stored for the winter? If so is the garage dry? The Cragar S/Ss are chrome and as they have in the past (I doubt that the finishing process has changed) the chrome will rust and pit if you don't stay on top of them. While the polished aluminum will dull it's a lot more forgiving than the chrome and repolishing them will make them look new again. Just something to think about long term. Good luck with what ever you choose.
The reason the Cragars are done so much is because of how sweet they look,
I am a big fan of old school wheels on Classic C3's leave the tall wheels with rubber band tires to the pimps in the ghettos,
My keyboard locked up before I was finished babbling...
Have you looked at finned wheels, Torque D's, Aspen style slotted mags....all look great on C3's

15 in 5 spokes look nice and are period correct but..........any performance use will quickly exceed 15 in rubber capabilities
17's are a good compramise. They provide performance handling and sticky Z rated rubber options without requiring rap music to be played every time you drive
I am going from 15 in TTII's to 17 in AR Hopsters.
Out of your two choices above, I'd pick # 2 - especially if the Cragars require spacers

Good Luck, Ed
I hear ya,.... the 50 plus yo suspension design will exceed and exceed better with larger diameter wheels than designed to be on it...stiff ride doesn't always great handling...it takes more than 17" wheels to make a C3 handle great....Do you push your car to the limits...not me, I just cruise...15" will do all I need my car to do but it's all how we use are cars....high speed rated tires on a street car is just posing....

Love the look of tt or 5-spokes but everyone has them. Just bought a bone stock 76 myself. Thinking about 17inch Ansen Sprints but love the Hopsters on the yellow 69!
