What do different colors say to you?

Tell me what some colors make you think of or what you do or do not like about a color...please lets keep it in good fun and not get thin skin if someone disses your babys color.

Example,
Black...Darth Vader...mean and wicked ( and the only color I really dig...but you knew that )

White...Starwars Stormtrooper

Red....Sleezy...hot...cop magnet

Silver....never thought much of it until my 69 and I liked it at first now it seems like a beer can to me.

Gold...screams 70's...bell bottom leisure suits with disco medallions.

Brown...never seems clean...I guess I relate it to poo.

Tan...see Brown.

Beige...great band aid color

Green...English race cars.

Blue...depending on the shade really sweet or really nasty.
Flip flop....Now here is a person who can't make up their mind.

Burgundy...Wine...blood...Vampyres

Purple...pimpin' and I love it!

Yellow...loud

Orange...Anita Bryant

I really have no idea why some colors make me think about them the way I do...now lets see how some of you see colors.

But seriously...when you look at your car do you like the color...do you love it...or did it just happen to be that color and you are stuck with it?

Not in a bad way but the 80-82 vettes always looked plastic to me, thats at least part of how I see white ones and black ones...as Starwarriors...
This one makes me think of Darth Maul though...

Yeah, I can see some Darth Maul in that vette.

Silver: boring, every other car on the road
White: see silver
Black: Classy, Vader(thanks to the13Bats)

When I found "Silver Tuna" I was happy as a Pig in shi....Ahem Slop it wasn't Brown...I looked long and hard at a Flared brown 68...more happy with my 69,
Is it Silver is boring...all I know is I was okay with it the first week and now it hurts my eyes to even look at it....

White - boring on any car.
Silver - not much better than white.
Black - cool but hard to keep clean.
Green - didn't like it until I got my car. It's grown on me now.
Red - Prince - Little Red Corvette - and too many on the road.
Blue - very cool if done right.
Purple - can be cool. I love the '93 40th anniversary Vette.
Steel Cities Gray - Coolest color ever!!
Yellow - not my favorite.
War Bonnet Yellow - Very cool.
Brown - not for me.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I actually would like to have a dark green interior car with a contrasting exterior color as well as a dark blue interior with contrasting color. Car combinations I'm looking for would be Nevada silver with dark green interior and Steel Cities grey with dark blue interior.
it's a little harder to hide the boats intentions .....lol

White - classic
Red - resale
Yellow or Orange - racer
Silver - compromise between black and white
Gold - yellow was too loud
Green - bold choise - scares some people because they think it's bad luck
Blue - the perfect middle of the road choise - many people love it almost no one hates it

I LOVE the war bonnet yellow and the golds and some of the greens too.
I think the body's shapes go away a bit on white and silver cars.
$hit, I'd drive mine with grey primer on it grinnin' the whole time.

If you like beige on a vette then you will be the first person I have met in over 20 years who told me they did like it, it's way better than brown I will give you that...
Seriously...it can look very nice on a well kept clean vette...just not my taste.

I also saw a metallic black on some SUV the other day that was pretty cool in a way...
Some cars just look better to me some colors....I plan to run my Mako project rat rod style as in sanded black primer for a spell...to me the paint will be almost like a tattoo and I better like the color....

As odd as it sounds you eventually "develop" a "feel" for a color.
Okay now that I've thoroughly emasculated and embarrassed myself.

Black . . . . No Nonsense, Aggressive, Classic
White . . . . Clean, Light, Sometimes Boring
Red . . . . Loud, Attention Hoe
Silver . . . . .Majestic, Regal
Gold . . . . . . Different, Gaudy
Brown/Tan . . Nostalgic, Sleeper, Quaint
Green . .. . . . Cool Breeze, Spirited, Fun
Blue . . . . . .. Refined, Dignified
Burgundy. . . . Upper Crust, High Class
Purple . . . . . .Hip, Cool
Yellow. . . . . . Obtrusive, Youthful, Brash
Orange. . . . . The Dukes, Performance, Fast
Primer . . . . . . Work in Progress, Diamond in the Rough
Looking at a vette, on initial inspection, this is what I see when registering the color.
