late build 69

I have a 69 coupe BB 390 serial# 38151, and was wondering how many more 427 bbs were produced after mine, there is appx 38700 69s made.

There were 611 corvettes made after yours. Nobody knows how many were bigblocks. The available records do not associate vins with options.

Well, there were 15,441 built with the 427, which is around 40% of all the cars produced in '69. Multiply 611 remaining by 40% and you have around 240. They call this "interpolation."

thanks for the responce, well maybe those that have a 69 bb built after 38155 could put down there # and see how many could be left, thanks

Unless of course there was a shortage of 427 heads, and they stopped producing big blocks until the 1970 run.

They call this "assuming".
