Z-Bar frame bracket
I need a little help locating just exactly where to weld the Z-Bar bracket to the frame on my auto to manual conversion.
Any help ?
Any Pics ?
Also will need a little guidance on cutting the hole in the floor for shifter.

I hope this image gives a better guess-timate to cross-shaft (z) bracket location, as I do not have the exact dimension readily available. Perhaps another member can offer if they have it handy.
Note the brake line clamp bolt's distance to edge of bracket (mine was clutch car new):

I'll look to see if I have one without the boot/handle installed.

I can take dimensions if you need them. My interior is still stripped.
Buying the rubber boot will give you an idea of the lateral position of the hole because the boot's foot is profiled to fit the curve of the transmission tunnel.
