Getting ready for bodywork and paint, I installed a new passenger door window and I'm having a heck of a time getting the top of it out far enough so it closes on the top gasket. I've moved the tracks in and out and don't seem to have enough adjustment to get the top of the window to come away from the top gasket enough to go in the groove for it. I believe the way to move the top out is to pull the track in; that does work but not enough and I'm out of adjustment.
There's a nylon button in the glass that I think is supposed to strengthen the bottom when it all the way up, but I'm not positive. Does it look like it's in the right way?? The other one is like this and works perfectly, the AIM is pretty poor for determining the correct orientation. Maybe the ***** glass is not formed correctly too.
