I have a problem it`s called corvette fever.I went and bought another one today (makes #3).Today I bought a 1 owner 1980 L82 white with buckskin .This car is a true 1 owner and hasn`t even been out, except for a sunday drive 3 times a summer for the last 20 years.Well it could use a paint job the usual bumpers fading, and some minor scratches. But do you paint a true 1 owner like this?Everything on this car works and when you close the doors it`s like a brand new car.Steering real tight ,runs smooth.
I agree. I think I would have someone from NCRS take a look at it.
The one thing I would do is replace those tires. They haven't sold those for many years and they were not good tires when new. I had them on two cars back in the day and hated them.

1. Very nice! But as good as those tires look, job #1 is to replace them if you plan to drive the car. I remember a recent Corvette Fever article where a guy was gnashing his teeth over not replacing older tires. He suffered a blowout, which did extensive fenderwell & fiberglass damage. Then you WILL be repainting the car!!
2. Need pics of all 3 cars together! (I am one of 16,500 new IRS agents. )

I'm sorry, but there is no cure for your condition. There are however, somewhat effective treatments, like collecting one of each generation, and then moving on to one from each model year, and then one from each model year with each engine configuration etc.
Nice ride though! How many miles on her? I wouldn't change anything but the tires and oil.
