How do you lower the front? I've got a 76, and have lightened the weight in the front w/ aluminum mods...now it seems higher than usual....anyone have this happen?

I put lowered springs on my 76 and it looks great.
I think in Australia, it is illegal to cut your coils, so you need to buy coils that are lowering coils. That's what I have heard from our Aussie friend before.
In the US, we can just take our existing coils and cut them. Start with a 1/2 or 3/4 turn and see if it is enough, if not cut more. Its trial fit every time.
Be sure to re-align the top of the coil coil in the top frame perch during reassembly as teh GM manual shows it. You can also take some digital pics of how it is aligned in the top perch once your front shocks are removed.
Cutting the bottom of the coil is the wisdom and don't worry about coil end bottom alignment, its the top you focus on.
If you want to do the job yourself, get the Van Steel video on taking apart your Corvette suspension. Its approx. $25 and goes along ways to helping you see how the front end can be taken apart in relative safety.
