...for ease of installation, I'd use a GM Reproduction Parts '73/'74 Front, which is a true urethane just like the original. Many people here, myself included tried a TrueFlex for my '74's front and it wasn't even close, so I went with the original GM Repro Urethane. It's not cheap either, but to me worth every penny. Some people get lucky and have no issues. I used a TrueFlex front and rear on my '75 coupe and they came out very, very good. For the rear on my '74 coupe, I used the Eckler's true two piece rear bumper. It's the closest one out there that retain's an original appearance for a '74 rear. Some out there have no seam, some are one piece with that shallow saw cut seam. Depends on what you're looking for and how much you want to spend basically.
I went with fibreglass for mine.Be warned...the instructions said
to "...fit car to bumper". They were right !!!! Mine had a left hand BANG at some stage so it wouldn't line up without some persuasion.
Had to do some serious acrobatics to get ot the attaching screws too.
Be VERY careful when loosening bolts for the bumper supports too.
I'm pretty sure that's when my nose sagged. So support as much as possible when removing things ( and take pictures LOTS!!!).
Have you got a "body mount" at the front ???? I cant remember if mine did or not.If it has,it may need replacing too.
Good Luck

I have the Ecklers Flex fit for both. Unknown how hard the install was because a shop did it, but came out nice. I would stick with the original 2 piece design; I have the one piece and wish I had gone with the 2 piece. I think it takes away from the uniqueness of the 74 rear.
