Couple Questions
alright where to start i have a 79 vette. i need to know what side of the engine the accesories are bolted i cant remember from when i pulled the old engine...... also im in the process of rebuilding another 350 to put in it and i have been told i need to adjust the valves just right or it will wipe my cam, anyone who knows how to do this exactly i would greatly appreciate the info..... also i have a holley 650 cfm carb that is missing the "butterfly" anyone know where i can get one...

The assembly instruction manual (AIM) has diagrams, notes, torques, and original part numbers of everything added to the engine at St. Louis. AIM also shows belt routing and lists part numbers for the belts.
Typically, AC on the right, AIR right center, alternator and PS pump on the left.

Here's a shot of my 78', which should be close to your 79'. The Alt doesn't show here but it is on the left side along with the PS pump.
