Quanta Products has a engine enamal that is a dead-ringer for the ral stuff used in the early 70's.
It is not over-shinny and does not have to much red tint like the junk you get at the auto stores.
I have used it on a couple NCRS TFlight cars and other than applying to much of it, it has always gotten really good comments from the judges.
