427 Idle Vid
For some time I've wanted to do a vid of the 69 idling but couldn't find a way to download it from our video camera. Today I decided to use my regular digital camera to do the vid and it didn't come out too bad. The sound is not perfect but is actually fairly accurate. If you know what to listen for you can hear the solid lifters as I circle around to the side. I had no help so I just got the idle for now. Maybe I'll get it rolling under throttle another day. Mods are listed in my sig.

Corvette Lover, that's funny. I haven't heard the word "choice" used for a good while- your buddy Les must be a bit old school.
VetteXpress, Good guess on the mufflers. They're Dynomax UltrFlos, which have a more of a burble at idle and are louder under throttle than the Turbos but are pretty similar overall. The camera couldn't pick up the full extent of that burble.
Yellow, thanks. Your Vette is a stunner- I'll bet you turn heads wherever you go! I'd say that even if we weren't sporting the same wheels.
