Default Help please, 1973 Manual Transmission Spedometer Cable Replacement

I'm in the middle of replacing my 1973 manual transmission speedometer cable (L-48 & Muncie M21 I think). It's the one piece 72" cable. Got the cable through to the speedometer, but the original cable was left disconnected at the transmission by the PO and I don't know where it is supposed to go. I can't figure out where to land it. Also if anyone could provide the correct hanger locations that would help a lot, couldn't find them in the assembly manual.

Goes on the right side of the tailshaft housing.

Thanks Duke94.

I eventually found it, took about 20 minutes of fussing with it just to get the cable connected. Mine was a little different, the connector swiveled up and down making it very difficult to connect.
