Hey guys,

Anyone have any comments on this new Crate Engine?
I wonder what the MPG's would be in our old C3's.

That's basically just an LS3 with emission components, at least that's how I look at it. This engine will cost you about 9K. Do you have to pass an emission test with your Vette?

I think that is exactly what it is, with some attention paid to adaptable motor mounts. All else being equal, the mileage should be pretty well spot on with what a C6 gets.

My impression of smog laws in California were that, you basically had to run all of the equipment that your car came with from the factory, or a setup from a later model with all of the factory equipment. This package basically sells you that over the counter, rather than going through the trouble of dealing with a donor car.
