Chev/Vet Wheels
My measurements read 15"x8"x4.25"backspace with a 2.75" centres on the nut spacing (this measurement in a straight line).
I keep getting told vets are slightly different if looking for new wheels?
You might want to borrow a Corvette rally wheel from someone (they seem to be readily available) and see how it fits clearance wise. One good thing is you should not have problems clearing most Chevy disc brake setups.
Good luck and hope it helps... GUSTO
As "Gusto14" has already mentioned, the 'Vette wheels are the same bolt pattern (5x4.75") and centerbore as most of the GM wheels of that era. The backspacing is also fairly close to the other GM wheels, so there's a lot of possibility of interchanging. (most of the 7" GM wheels were either 4, or 4.25" backspacing)
Back in the 70s, I ran the 15x8 'Vette Rallys on a number of my cars, as a "low buck" way to get wider wheels.
