Rear window or front? For the rear everything is built into the switch. For the front its matter of directing the air from the heater/ac switch.

There is no actuator that I know of.

Heat/Defrost selector door vacuum actuator will be under the dash to the right of the accelerator panel.

Thanks, I was afraid of that. If you've tried working under the dash you know, it's the land of no return. Once I get down there I can't move.
Ever have to replace a bulb in the dash? I think I have to take the face plates off. I just bought this 82 Collector Edition. It's a beautiful car with 37G. But like any old car there are little things. I just rebuilt the heater controls. Thanks for the help.
