Default rear view mirror

I ordered a rear view mirror from ecklers and it came ups today. I opened the box and there isn't any instructions, just a pack of some kind of two part stuff. I can't see any spot on the windshield where the old one used to be. Can anybody tell me where to locate the new one and how to use that stuff that came in the box or is there something I can get to glue the tab that holds the mirror to the glass. My vett is a 77 thanks Vince

Have someone hold it where it needs to be, looking backwards, mark it with a marker .On a semi dry day not too hot not to cold mix the two glues 50/50 stir till the goop is one color If the mirror has the little take off piece, take it off use a slight amount of glue and tape that to the windshield. The glue showing can be trimmed later but better to tape off the area that you do not want glue on. Good Luck.I dont like to tell other people to scratch their winshield but some times you have tooo., to get the glue to stay forever.
