I have a 78, manual and the reverse lights are not working. I changed the bulbs and nothing happened. All the lights all around work (blinkers,gauges,tailights,etc.). Do the lights have their own fuse? Also, I read something about a back-up switch---where is it and what does it do? I'm really trying to avoid looking for a bad ground.
There is a fuse ,its on the right side of the box 2 down from the top 20 amps.

There is a 2 wire plug under the hood between the wiper motor and brake booster. Green wire and Pink/black tracer. Pink should be hot with the key on and green will be hot when the switch is closed when in reverse.
That's all I got and there ain't no more.
