Default manual window regulators

Well I changed out the manual window crank shafts and bushings and the slop is still there. The regulator shaft has a lot of play in it.I cant locate new or rebuilt ones.Where do I go from here?

Ruger Mag---try Paragon---they used to have a rebuilding service---very hard to find parts for the manual regulator---lots for the power--go figure. I sent mine to Paragon, they did an estimate and they called back for the approval to go ahead or not--took a month or so but they job was very satisfactory--good luck

Ruger Man----mine is a 1970 and no problems with their rebuilding--if memory serves me and often it doesn't lately--it took about 6 weeks--of course it could have been the time of year give em a call and inquire--I don't have the number handy as all catalogs are over in the shop with the Vette--somebody here should be able to help--Dave

They emailed me back again and said they would take a look at them and rebuild them for $120 a side.If there rebuildable. She said around two to three weeks but you know how that gose.Im just tired of the car being down waiting on parts.I would like to drive it some.I guess I could just leave the window glass out and drive it a little that way.I run around with them down most of the time anyway.
