Default radiator support

Dose anybody know of a good source for these. My 71 is rusted bad in a few spots. The only real rust on the car.I have hurd of otheres who have had problems with the holes lining up and I would like to avoid this. I would rather have a used one in good shape but I know thats probably going to be hard to find.

My only experience with this: I bought one from Ecklers. It uses thinner gauge stampings than the original, half the original number of spot welds to hold it together, had stamped edges sharp enough to cut my hands (i.e. they hadn't been de-burred), and one of the radiator bracket mounting holes is in the wrong place. I wouldn't buy another one from them.

I just put in a core support and front bumper crossmember from Ecklers into my '69 coupe about 2 months ago. I was worried from all the reports of bad fit, etc. from all the vendors that I'd have trouble. It went in with very little trouble. A couple of mounting holes had to be elongated, but not any that had welded nuts. Although I'd never want to do it again, I didn't have any big problems.

15 years ago here in Florida, I paid like 175 bux for my new support, I think it was Coffman, but have no record of the purchase....it only fit SO SO,,...and to cure the rust issue I drilled drain holes in the bottom rear areas, and then poured in some paint for additional protection....the new one was considerable lighter than the old one, even with 1/2 of the old one gone due to rust....

had it out a few years ago for a fan install, and everything was great....

Methink there has been a few price increases over the years.....

I replaced the one in my 71' 7 or 8 years ago. Fit to the body was OK, but the sheet metal side panels that the rad seals fasten to were way off. With the rad installed, the gap top to bottom was off by almost 3/4". Hopefully todays quality is much better.

I bought mine from Willcox, quality and fit was great, I even didn't notice any weight difference at all.
