Winter upgrades worked....
Over the winter I upgraded to a Hurst Driveline five speed TKO600. I also upgraded the cam and replaced the TPI with a Super Ram setup. I took the car for a drive this morning from Chicago to Springfield and return. The car ran great with no issues and was able to get almost 22mpg up from 11- 12 mpg before all the work. Now I just need to get the A/C recharged to blow cold air and Hot Rod Power Tour here I come......
