Bilstein, AC Delco, KYB, Koni, Edelbrock, or OEM replacements so many choices and not a clue what to buy. I am looking for the most comfortable ride. Anyone have any experience with any of these.
"Comfortable" as in cruising? Or "comfortable" as in not being a handful when taking fast turns?
If you want ride quality when cruising...and you don't drive the car any harder than your Toyota Camry...just put Monroe gas shocks or even some OEM-style hydraulic shocks on the car. But, if you want better handling and stability, a good brand of gas shock is advised. Lots of folks on this forum praise the Bilstein 'Heavy Duty' shock as an excellent all-around shock.
"Bilstein Sports or Bilstein HD's" - for a comfortable ride -you want HD not sport.

Now that we've established Bilsteins as fact. Let us swing this conversation to the differences between the Sports and the HD's, to help him differentiate.

Van Steel has a deal where you buy all four for $300. Tire Rack sells the fronts for $75 each and the rears for $83 each. By my math, Van Steel wins out there.

There we go! That's what I meant...yeah, I had Van Steel's site bookmarked, and forgot that he sold them. Thanks.
I put AC Delcoe shocks on my 74. Took it out on the road after painting it and re doing the inside, Road smooth for me. For 150$ for four can't complain.

There is a 10% difference between the 2. The HD WERE the stiffer of the 2. The HD's are no longer available unless you find some old stock somewhere. I have 2 front HD shocks but no rears.
I have Bilstein shocks and very stiff springs. It's not comfortable just cruising. You feel every bump in the road. Now throw it into a corner at twice the little advisory number and it's a completely different story. My car reallly likes going around corners fast. It depends on what you want to do. I wouldn't spend the extra money for Bilstein if you are only planning to cruise.
I called strange and got single adjustable's for $250. I also put a lot of urethane under neigh the car and harder spring ect, but I think it hits just as soft as stock. That being said it takes all of 2 seconds to set the shocks on kill. It is pretty nice being able to adjust to fit you daily needs.
