Stupid question # 24:

I've got the pinch-plier but now want to make sure that I pinch off the right hose. Upper or lower heater hose?

I've only got one plier right now, so I thought that pinching off the hot water supply hose to the heater core would be a good choice. But which one is it? The GM shop manual assumes you know a lot of background info and doesn't explain that, neither does the assembly manual.

My ball valve is in the top hose.

Glad you got your air working. I've printed and saved this thread for use in fixing my air as well.

Glad my ignorance has helped someone else on this topic!
Thanks for the hose location. I'll be clamping that puppy off tonight.

OT: would like to ask you about your duals (cat or no cats on them, company, etc.) Been thinking of doing the same thing but getting mixed responses from NY members about removing the cat converter.

Cheers!
